Ever have those days where you’re left wondering if you’re just having a rough week or if it’s something more?  Feel like something isn’t quite right but just can’t figure out what it is?  While I believe that you have the ability to be your own navigator in a word full of uncertainty, you don’t have to travel alone! Therapy can be the first step (or even your tenth step!) to develop and improve your journey and my passion is to help you get that AHA! Moment.

I believe that with your desire for change and with my ability to support you by sharing techniques and tools I can help you tackle the various unpredictabilities.  My mission is to guide you in growing into the best version of yourself in your quest to feel like the real you.  I strive to provide a supportive, non-judgmental environment incorporating solution focused care with models including but not limited to  Functional Family Therapy, CBT, Mindfulness approaches.

I’m a transplant from SC where journey into therapy as a career began with being on the other side of the proverbial couch. In 2013 I received a BS in Psychology from the College of Charleston in South Carolina. I have always attributed my ability to handle the stressors of undergraduate school to my own regular participation in therapy.  I relocated to NC in 2016 where that positive experience inspired me to then seek my Masters in Social Work and Masters in Public health at the University of North Carolina which I finished in 2018. I’ve been in the community mental health field providing in-home services to youth and their families.  I’m excited to assist you on your journey as I take my own next steps as I enter into the private practice setting. I enjoy working with ages ranging from adolescents (15-19) to young adults (19-24) to adults 24+ and families.

If you want to hear more about me and my passion for therapy check out my podcast, the Pillow Fort Sessions Podcast!

I look forward to working with you.
